Title: Stormy Mondays can sound decent even through Zoom 606
Post by: WarrenTrucks on September 21, 2007, 12:38:12 PM
The guitar is a 78 Gibson SG, Stormy Monday neck and bridge just before the end. The solo is from Gov't Mule's The Deepest End DVD - Sco-Mule. I've programmed the drums in Reason, the guitar is recorded through a Zoom 606 into an onboard sound card. I stil think that the sound is OK, considering the equipement used.

One of the first things I noticed about BKPs: they can sound organic even through digital processors. I don't know how or why, they just do.

Hey, any chance you could record some Derek Trucks style slide work?

I can record some Warren Haynes style slide, since I play slide in standard tuning. I will record it on my stage rig, so the sound will be like it should. and I will post it next week.

Sorry, but I'm having problems with my digital camera, so I couldn't record a video with the real amp. So I've recorded some slide on my Zoom, the settings are the same as before, standard tuning, first chorus I use the neck pickup, second chorus I use the bridge.
