Hi all,
First post here and yes, its a request for a sound clip. I've been through these pages with a fine tooth comb and I've only found a couple of (excellent!) clips of Tele pups.
My Tele's getting some work done on it next week and I'm seriously considering the Brown Sugar's to go in while I'm at it. Would love to hear them first though, in fact any of the vintage hot series!
Hope someone can help!

I just put an order in for some Piledrivers, a vintage hot pup based on the old old broadcaster pickups.
This place is full of knuckle-dragging, humbucker weilding metallers though, barely a telecaster clip in sight. Philistines.
please dont hurt me metal people.

Ha ha, seems that way
Yeah I have considered the Piledrivers also, sure would be nice to hear them though! Guess my luck's out. I'll probably get the Brown Sugars to be honest and when I eventually get a mic I'll post some clips then.
Thanks for the reply!

Dont worry, I dislike most metal and still use singlecoils :P :) Sadly no tele yet, but if I manage to save enough of my student loan by xmas for a Baja tele (unlikely) I shall have to get one.

Good clips, nice comparisons and I like both Tele sets even though they sound very different from each other.

Well I've always loved my old MIJ tele, but since I've put these pups in its liek a new guitar! I don't think you need to spend a fortune if your putting some of these pups in....
