After several knuckle-gnawing weeks, I'm finally reunited with my Crawlers -- and, incidentally, the guitar they're in ;) along with my bass (sadly without BKPs) ....
It took only about a week for them to wing their way from the UK to Bogota, Colombia, but considerably longer to wrestle them through the customs and associated bureaucracy and back into my possession. But now they're here, safe and sound. :)
Alas, due to a terrible oversight on my part, my leads are all still sitting in a crate in Cartagena and probably won't arrive until at least next week! (Assuming the lorry that hauls them up isn't run off the road by some mad bus driver or something -- all the bus drivers here are totally psychotic!). That won't do! (Either the bus or the lack of leads ...) I'll have to hit one of the musical instrument shops and buy a new lead to tide me over! I've been too long without playing ....

Dude you must be suffering some BAD withdraw. I pity anyone nearby when you get plugged back in

So have you moved to Colombia permanently, Carlaz?
I was wondering what you'd been up to, good to see you back.

Are you setting up a lucrative export business there?

Aguardiente Cristal, for those cool Bogota's evenings, and get some Cumbia dancing lessons so you can dance "Shakira like"...Best to you man, and " Be Careful"

It took me about 25 years to get round to reading those lyrics  . I was quite shocked, never thought of Rush as a druggy band.

I'm mostly a Nectar drinker, but Cristal ain't bad! :) It would, however, take more than some lessons to dance like Shakira -- major surgery, for a start! :o
Heh, anyway, yeah, I'm more or less relocated permanently to Colombia -- or as permanent as anything can be in this day and age. Though I'm neither drowning in cocaine nor (more tragically) cocaine dollars! Keeping it together by doing some contract work for the company I used to day-job for in the UK whilst my missus restarts her law career here (lots of call for laywers hereabouts ;)). Still sort of getting settled in and sorted out, though I've got some stuff on my list to check out in the local music scene. (I'm pretty sure there are some luthiers in town, too .... though it will take me longer to check out that action.)
For the moment, I'm still waiting for the box with my darned leads to show up! (And my wah pedal! Gotta have that ....)

Hahaha....best to you and your wife Carlaz!
