Title: London Used Musical Instruments Store
Post by: FernandoDuarte on October 04, 2007, 07:52:14 PM
Hello guys! I'm from Brazil and I'm arriving in London next Saturday to do a English Language course!
I'm thinking in buy a Orange Tiny Terror, but I would look for it used, since one £ is equal 4,3 of the money of my country  :D
Does anybody here knows a good used m.i. store? Or a good store?? I know it won't be very appreciated, but give me a discont please!
Cheers!

I hope your flight is good and that you enjoy England!  As for the tiny terrors, I don't know of many that are coming onto the used market as yet but maybe, once you are here, try E-bay or something.

Hello! thank you Mr Beatle! I searched in ebay before I post here and, in deed, I've found only no one 'used' T.T.... So, probably I would have to buy it new...

Hey Fernando. How long are you staying in London for?

Trying to find a tiny terror second hand might be a bit tricky in the stores as London shops are quite expensive.

They sell for good money used (when they appear, around £230) so I would just buy a new one (£299 but you may get a small discount).

denmark street is quite expensive, and i dislike it in general... but that said, its probably a good place to pick up something mainstream like a tiny terror - you can play the shops off against each other and get a decent price.

Doesn't matter what the weather is like now, it'll be differewnt tomorrow.  I do hear that it supposed to be getting nice agian, so probably wise to bring a coat

I wouldn't worry too much about your English, we can all understand you and hell, it's probably better than mine is

Enjoy England, make sure you drink some proper beer.

It seems like you rarely hear English spoken in London anymore anyway - so no need to worry

OK - ok - I was kind of kidding, but London IS a very mixed culture so you will find that for many people there that English is not their first language and that you will fit in just fine

You do realise that in the UK we tend to get all for seasons within a couple of hours (never mind in one day)

So you may have to put up with a lot of rock throwing and saluting :)

Enjoy your visit
