Hi There,
What is a correct set-up for the Black Dogs?
Does it have the best sound near the strings or lower to the guitar body?
It's for a Les Paul...
Regards!

fret the guitar at the last fret and adjust the neck pickup so it is about 2mm under the string on the bass side and slightly higher on th treble side. The plug the guitar in and adjust the bridge pickup height untill there is no volume drop off between the bridge and neck.
thats should get you started - after that its worth experimenting a bit yourself to find the optimum position

set it by ear,
higher = more bass and power but with sacrified sustain and possible wolf tones if u go too high.
lower = less out put, more sustain, less bass.

What do you mean with 'wolf tones'?

just set all your pickups as high as you can and then play a note high up the neck.. and u'll understand what I mean.
sounds like odd harmony on each note.
