Title: I can't be the only person who likes Stuck Mojo!
Post by: Nadz1lla on October 10, 2007, 11:02:43 AM
Please tell me there are other people out there into Mojo! If not for the music as a whole then at least for the Riffing, they got some majorly cool riffs going on.

I got letter of the month in this months Metal Hammer, I asked them why they didn't put Mojo on the Southern Metal cover CD, and they replied by saying "cos they're s**t". This is coming from the magazine that has had Stuck Mojo on at least 2 of their cover CD's in the past, hehe.

Ah well. Apparently I get a free t-shirt for being shot down in flames like that.

Not a fan I'm afraid, too much rappin' for my taste and the whole Fozzy/WWE connection was pretty lame.  But yeah, some good riffs.

That Southern Metal CD was great though, Mojo-less or not.  I don't usually buy Metal Hammer but I bought that issue for the Down interview and the CD.  Keep meaning to investigate some of those bands' albums.

Yeah I found myself liking quite a few of those tracks, now and then Hammer really do something good with their free stuff.

Anyway, I think I'm gonna find my Pigwalk CD and kick back with some Jaegermeister...

Wait, I'm teetotal. Hmmm... I'm not going to fit into that scene at all.

I quite liked Rising and some bits of Snapping necks.

An ex- g/f was way into them so i got to hear a fair bit
Rich Ward had a good guitar tone

Yeah he knows how to write some pretty powerful riffs too, and a lot of them are relatively simple! I think he uses Les Pauls a lot.
