Ordered last Thursday and even with the postal strike got them on Wednesday, can't beat that for service.
I went for a calibrated set, unpotted with lightly aged covers and double cream bobbins and they look fabulous. Very realistic looking covers.
I have tried A2 mag pickups in this guitar and they were a bit muddy in the neck and not tight enough in the bridge. A5 mags seem to be too agressive and thin sounding so was hoping with A4 I would find the perfect match of tightness and warmth.
What can I say, these pickups are something else. :D I am not great at describing tone but they are exactly what I was looking for. The band Im in covers everything from AC/DC to Zep to Y+T and Maiden so I needed a versatile but classic sounding pickup and the Mules deliver big time. The way the bridge and neck are matched is perfect (always found this as a big problem with other pickups).
Looking forward to playing them in anger at a gig on the weekend.

Excellent to hear that. A gig is the best place to test them out and I am sure that, like me, you will be knocked out with your BKPs.
