Seems like a good idea! sounds okay in the clip too. gibson's finally done something useful :)
UPDATE: It's only $1799 in the states. thats £885. Not too bad for a custom shop Gibbo! not too bad at all. I'd love a play

Does look like a bargain at USA prices but by the time they get here and Gordy takes a slice and our friends in Brussels takes theirs, it may not be so attractive.I like the Les Paul sized semis. I like the 336 too.

If it's a bit above your budget you could check out the Epiphone Alleykat or Wildkat.

only $1799 in the states?

My prediction for price here:
£47,000,000,000.

Oh all right then, maybe that's a bit far. £2500.

Or try to find an old AM series Ibanez:

I tried a special edition white one with gold hardware. It was very pretty, well made and a stunning flame maple top. It had a great semi hollow blues sound.

Like this one. Not mine, unfortunately. Nice guitars but desperate for a pickup swap.

No the KS model is, I think, a 336. I am probably going to get one myself ( a 336) in lieu of payment for some recording.

There is a Heritage 335 in my local guitar shop for £1000, and it's fantastic... I dream of owning it.

This is my 79 335, now fitted with a Mule set. It cost me £700 18 years ago. One exactly the same went on eBay for just over a grand a few weeks ago.

(That radiator's never on, by the way...)

It's strange how large these things look when other people are playing them, but when you're wearing it yourself you don't notice.

for a cheap, and actually really nice small semi-acoustic, check out the Vintage Advanced AV3 on page 11 of this pdf:

http://www.jhs.co.uk/Advance.pdf

tried one and thought it was pretty cool.

Seems like a bargain, but what can one expect with the competition on the semi-acoustic market. ATM i even think the epi semi's are just as good as the gibbi's. I picked up an old japanese Washburn HB35 cheap, it still needs a electronics change though.....

Oh I do, but then I'm a midget.  It seems an awful lot of body to reach across.

Still, nice guitar!  :D

335's are better once they are being played-not as cumbersome as they appear I'd agree but I have my eye on a mate's 336 which is Les Paul sized- just gotta get the cash together and go collect ( from USA).

Kiefer Sutherland having a signature (pffft, "inspired by" my arse) guitar is pathetic.

Dave Grohl's new DG606 is $%&#ing fit however.

Excellence, that Vintage range of guitars look sweet as a nut.
