Well everyone mentions their new guitars and amps on here, so I thought I'd mention my new band. I had a try out last night and I'm in :)
I'm keeping my Angus job in YC/DC, but I'm also going to be playing in a new blues/rock outfit called Doublecut. It's a sort of bluesy Dire Straits kinda thing. Mainly original stuff written by the singer, with a few covers thrown in for fun. All good stuff and a nice change from 'DC. We're going recording at the end of next month to finish a demo album off, so that'll be a cool experience too.
I'll be using non-SGs live for the first time (woohoo!) which will of course feature BKPs. I'm using my Les Paul Junior Lite with unpotted AII P90s and my Tokai Les Paul Relic with a bridge Mule. It's got a non-BKP neck pickup at the moment so I'm contemplating getting a Stormy Monday for those sweet lead tones.
Check out the tunes on the MySpace page if you're interested (not me playing by the way...)

That sounds awesome, can't go wrong with bluesy rock!

Wow not bad, 2 bands, would love to have time and opportunity for this.
Kind of an older setup that it seems, but is good to benefit from others' experience, that's for sure. They all have probably hundreds of gigs behind them, who knows...

Nice move Dave. I am also in 2 bands with little crossover between them though I do get confused a bit at times.Keeps you busy though-best of luck with that.

Cheers guys. I'll post some of our recorded stuff when it's done to showcase BKPs :)
