..we had a little experiment today-2 Mark IIC+ amps slaved into a MK 1 and a Mk IIC+ Coliseum...speakers are either celestion c90's or EV's...absolute heaven AND hell!!!I know these cost more $$ than here in the US, so I figured you guys might like checking this out-btw, tornadoes were headed our way, but when I flicked the last stand by, the skies werent cryin' anymore!!!

they were slaved..the two in the middle were slaved into the amps on the side...the IIC+ amps have gotten ridiculous over here-they are the mythical mesa because of the power trannies-take it from me, the tone is incredible, but some of the C+ heads are fetching 3000 plus(what an investment..these heads are from 1984)  my coliseum is one of 86 made-found a guy who was playing bass through it and didnt really know what he had-bought time I got lucky for a change!

hmmm, davey..let me get back to you on that..
Sykes was a big fan of the MK III Coliseum, but I have read he used C+ amps as well-my Coli has 6 6l6 power tubes-rated at 180 watts, but it hits around 300 watts at clipping!Keith Richards was the first to use these for those big outdoor shows..played two on stage-the amount of gain in these freaks are ungodly, but the cleans are just as stunning-its funny, keef played these, and they were also the studio amp of choice for the metallica boys, esp. hetfield!
