OK, I know next to nothing of how a 4 conductor or a 2 braided differ. I read the FAQs and searched the forum, but I couldn't find anything that just straight up told me (in lamens terms, haha) what the difference is. I am looking at a Warpig because not only do the sound clips sound great, I play a lot of heavier stuff on guitar and love a 'Invader' (sorry) tone/balls....but I want something better (than seymour, that is). Hopefully that will help in aiding me to pick between 4 or 2 conductor(s)? Thanks and anything would be appriciated.

Welcome agileHORSE!
Simple,
4 conductor allows you to split the coils - which a Warpig does very well - good for a Strat with a 5 way or any Hum/single/Hum such as an Ibanez RG
2 conductor is simple full bore HB and sits well with a 3 way switch 2HB
guitar like a Les Paul
I always buy 4 conductor and tape 2 of the wires together but it allows for any future installations / choices I might make.
BTW - You'll love your 'pig for life...
Hope that helps

would buying a 4 conductor and taping the 2 wires together do anything to the sound though? I am still looking for a clean tone pickup (not sure HB or single, most likely HB) that will sound not only good normal and compliment the immense amount of tapping I do (thinking Miracle Man) but I want something that will still sound sick whilst running with the 'Pig.

The sound should be the same, the pickup leads are not very long so moving the join between the wires 6-12 inches will not be a problem.
Tim just told me that they have new thinner 4 conductor wire, so the problem of narrow wiring channels shoudn't be an issue now. That decided me to get my Warpig with 4 wire. Then if I want to put a push pull pot for series/parallel, I can do it later (it is going in the bridge of an Explorer).

Clips! We want clips! Would you please make us some clips?

Everything is coming over from the UK, I am hoping the pickups and guitar arrive at the same time. Though it is taking so long with the shipping that I think the pickups might get here first!
As soon as everything arrives I will do something (though to tell you the truth, the pickups I want to really put on are the Pig-90 on my LP Junior and the 'aged' apache set on my 57 strat).
