anyone on here do multi finger tapping?

I've started doing it quite a bit recently, I was just wondering if you guys pull off with the right hand by bringing the fingers inwards, ie up, or outwards, ie down (if that makes any sense!)

right hand pulling off inwards is faster but outwards is cleaner since the left hand is muting the higher strings

so what kind of technique do you guys use?

I also anchor the right hand with the thumb over the top of the fretboard

i did a bit of it in a phase a while ago (learnt satch's midnight) and as far as i can remember i dont think i pulled off. i just hammered one of my right hand's fingers on a string and then just lifted it off.
