hes no snob, thats pretty cool! happy to talk about his 'secrets'.

nevertheless, i want a cheap beat-up guitar to hack around with and stick a VH2 or Rebel Yell in.. this interview doesn't really help matters as he obviously loves those particular two models ;)

Thanks for posting this.  I never really listened to anything by Steve except the random Billy Idol song and of course the wicked sweet Top Gun theme.  In the article there is a link to his myspace with some of the tracks off his album.  I didn't know he did anything like this and I must say I enjoy it a lot.  Thumbs up!

Great interview!

I think Steve is the coolest "guitar hero" around. He is a gear whore though, almost as bad as Billy Gibbons  :lol:
