According to the second of those links, it'll be called Gibson Guitar Corp. I guess that makes sense since the junior(?) partner has the bigger name.

Shame, I quite liked Gitcon.

But TC's Anders Fauerskov is the new CEO of the merged business, and (even more surprisingly) is remaining based in Denmark. That seems pretty different from Fender's drive for world domination.

Gibson is a way bigger company than TC.. i bet its so they can develop digital line6 like amps and more affordable fx under the gibbo brand and leave tc the highend

You're right, I misread that. But it still implies day-to-day operations will be run from Denmark. Interesting to see how it develops.
