adding new pots

Ok this is a real noobie question but I've gotta sk as this is the first time I've re-wired a guitar. I've got the pots for my guitar ready to put in, but on the pots them selves there seems to be 2 nuts, a spacer & some kind of knurled washer. Obviously one nut goes on top of the scratchplate, but how is it setup below the suface please? nut, spacer, washer? Spacer, nut, washer?

Please help an idiot

On top of the scratchplate should be one nut and the thin, flat washer (although for some reason Fender often don't use a washer).

Beneath the scratchplate should be the lock-washer - it has teeth which dig into the plate and stop the pot rotating when you tighten the nut.  And  you can put another nut between the pot chassis and the lock-washer if too much of the thread is sticking out above the scratchplate.
