My Vote = St Albans - The Horn.

'tis a good venue for rock bands, low ceilings, an inch of beer on the floor and the PA is LOUD.

The Glastonbury main stage at sunset is pretty damn good though, gotta love the Brixton Academy too.

AY civic centre was good for what it was, loads of space for socialising whilst avoiding the mostly shitee bands around the local area

Of all the venues I've been in, you'd go a long, long way to beat the Barrowlands.

Dave Grohl's favourite venue, the Glasgow Barrowlands Ballroom. A converted ballroom in a dodgy part of town. Throw in some awesome acoustics and a sound guy who knows what he is doing and a decent crowd and it's the best in the world.

Rage Against the Machine apparently played there and blew the roof off. Not literally but if I could time travel...
Mississippi Queens, Holydiver.
