I've spent years trying to find the "right" fuzz pedal for me but the problem was always that they didn't have enough volume for me and there was always a noticable volume drop when I engaged it.
Now, a mate of mine... a real fuzz fiend who loves harsh fuzz, self oscillation circuits and all that... has recommended Devi Ever (formerly known as Effector 13) to me, including the White Spider, Shoe Gazer and Rocket. All of these include an extra fuzz stage, the White Spider and Rocket feature oscillation circuits (I'm not that bothered about that) and the Rocket even has octave-up features (like in the Pumpkins song).
Just wondered if anyone here has one or has used one in the past and could offer up any info?
