guitar lessons

there is a guitar shop on the way to my girlfriend's place that does lessons for £10 for 30 mins, the guy teaches grade 8 and knows a bit on jazz

I'd say my skill level is advanced in some areas (shredding) and lacking in others (chords), I'm quite tempted, I'm totally self taught, what do you guys think?

Definitely worth it, its better to learn from another player than internet lessons or tabs imo. I'm thinking about starting lessons again because I've been stuck in the same rut for ages.

Yeah, I'm sick of being a 10 thumb tone deaf muppet and been thinking of lessons myself.
Advice worth what you just paid for it.

I say go for it - the worst that can happen is you waste a tenner :)

If the teacher is any good, he/she will start by asking where you are now & what you want to achieve.
