eurgh. dont like the look of that at all. i think the gt 8 got it right with the amount of knobs. i really dislike one knob interfaces. you're gonna need a keyboard and mouse to control their mulit fx soon.

i'm sure it sounds ok though...

As a long time GT-6 user, I'd say it looks pretty good.

One of my main gripes with the GT-6 is that you never know where you are on any parameter setting and once you turn a knob it moves very quickly away from the setting you had it on.

The Tonelab LE has addressed this problem and it looks like the GT-10 has done so as well.

I note that Boss are touting a more natural tone, which is good. My only other complaint about the GT-6 is that the drive models weren't the best. The effects (reverb, delay, compression etc) were excellent but the amp models were not as good.

I bought a Tonelab LE and while it's amp models are wonderful, I'm not greatly impressed with the effects section.

Perhaps the GT-10 could be the answer for me.

From the Boss blurb it looks like they haven't actually come up with anything new in terms of amp modelling. Just repackaged what they already had in a more flexible, easier to use unit.
No competition for the Axe-FX yet methinks.

I'm only wondering when they will finally get it and invest the 3 EUR production effort to make these units true bypass ...

So basically it's the same amp model engine that they've had around for years, in a new box?

Yup, although a bit more flexible, like you can have two different amp models running at the same time (bit like a Vetta). But, when all is said and done, it's the same technology as before - getting a bit old isn't it.  :(

Yeah just a bit.

It's a pity. I like the GT-6 with it's bucketload of decent effects but it's drives just don't do it for me anymore, now that I have a Tonelab LE.

If they (Boss) were to bring out a MFX box with a tubed power amp, now that would be nice
