Rewinding Existing pickups

Got a parker fly which anoyingly wont take standard Bare Knuckles, so was consdiring getting Tim to rewind the ones in there to spec. (prob either abraxas or crawlers)

Anyone else here had any experience with rewinds?

Do they sound as good as a standard set of BK's?

I've had 3 rewinds, 2 were old original pickups which Tim wound to stock spec and they sound great (in fact I can't tell the Strat one from the other originals!).  The other I had wound slightly differently, and again it came out great.

The best way is to tell Tim what sound you are looking for and then he can tell you what can and can't be done with the pickups.
So many pickups, so little time

I have two Strat pickups rewound by BKP.  They sound...profound.  What is amazing about them is that they are bright and instantly recognizable as "Fender", but at the same time warm and not at all ice-picky.
