Has Anyone Upgraded An Epiphone Dot with Stormy Monday Pups?

What were the results like? Any sound clips?
Really looking to upgrade as I think the stock ones ain't the best.

I had a ep dot with dimarzio PAF classics with very good results. I reckon the SM or the Mule would sound vey good.

did you alter the electrics at all eg switches, pots as reading several other posts people have altered the internals when they have changed the pick ups

Most Korean/Japanese guitars benefit from an upgrade of the electronics.  I wouldn't be brave enough to attempt to rewire a 335, but there's a great thread about it here:

it depends what you want to play, if slightly more hard (mule) or soft (stormy monday).

i borrowed an epiphone dot for a couple of weeks, and it was pretty nice! if you'll go to the effort of changing the pickups, you might as well do the electrics too.

I've just switched the stock pups in an Ibanez 335 copy for Emeralds.
Still in the honeymoon phase but we’ve not fallen out yet.
