Tiny Terror to push a Celestion Blue?
« on: April 17, 2008, 12:10:13 AM »
While I've never actually played a tiny terror, or heard an Orange 1X12, or heard a Celestion Alnico Blue in person... I'm going to guess that a tiny terror with a Blue in an Orange 1X12 may be... delightful?  Anyone ever thought about this?  Or hear it in person?  Do you think it would be a nice match?

Sounds like the perfect couple to me, despite that I think the blue shines mainly in open cabs rather than closed ones.

Sounds like a great match, if you tend to like a bit more "chime" than "crunch".

On 'The Gear Page ' forum, I am sure I saw a picture of the 'Tiny Terror' combo from the rear - and it had a Celestion Greenback fitted as standard.

As a recent convert to Greenbacks, I can see why ! I have however,  not played a Tiny terror though - just a Peavey Tweed combo of the same output.

I hope someone with experience of both can confirm .  :)

I thought it was a G12H, rather than a Greenback?  Could be wrong though.

Yeah, but they've gone with a different speaker for the new TT combo, apparently.
