90's psychedelic pop music by myself

In the late nineties when I was 24 I recorded an EP with a band called Templeton. I was the eldest member. LOL!! I sang the odd song and played lead guitar.
My younger brother Alvaro thumped his G&L bass, a biology student called Alfonso Valdívia played the drums and a lad called Pablo who looked remarkably like a member of the Cruise ( as in Tom ) family played laid-back fills with his humbucker-loaded Tele through my Fender Bronco little amp and sang.  

We self-released this short EP called "Orange is the Change".
We recorded it using the equipment we had at the time and using a friend's semi-pro home studio.

I sort of forgot completely about this CD but a few days ago I found a copy and played it. It sounds very 90's but it's not as bad as I remembered.:p
It's rather naďve but it sounds cute in an atmospheric way.

I thought I'd be good to upload the songs for you to enjoy.

It sounds a bit crude and rough but not without its charms, me thinks

Please let me know what you think of them.

BTW, I only started playing guitar when I was 21 so the technique wasn't too depured after only 3 years of part-time, self-taught guitar bashing... I mean playing

A few pieces of info; everything you can hear was done with 2 guitars, a few pedals, an ebow, a bass and a drumkit.
There's some wacky sounds coming from my (ab)use of a bunch of old BOSS pedals. No keyboards were used whasoever.  

First song: Little drop of gold
Kind of mean and moody song. I used my ebow for many parts.

Second: Orange is the Change
It's me playing my Les Paul though a VOX overdrive pedal. I sing this one. Kind of upbeat and somehow folky.

The most radio-friendly of the whole lot. Fast-ish, crunchy and fun.

Fourth: Make your own America
Lo-Fi in its nature. You can hear me having fun with an old pitch shifter pedal and my ever present ebow. The final solo is a cheesy Stone Roses/Jimmy Page influenced pentatonism ( is that a word?? )

Trippy yet powerful. Mysterious yet calm. A slowish song to finish the album.

I hope you enjoyed it. I personally lost loads of money in the project ( I payed for the CD making and stuff ) and not many "friends" payed for their copies.
You know the old story: " Hey.That's cool. Thanks for the CD I'll pay for it later" :D
Still it's a bit of MY musical history so no regrets!!
