Just bought a Carvin DC135 from H.Hcave from here. Nice guy to deal with and he was dead on with the description.

The guitar is visually stunning. Classic white with black hardware and the smoothest and most comfortable neck I've played. Not fat, but not thing, like in between a fat Gibson neck and a thin Jackson neck.

Sounds awesome, I really like the pickups at the moment so there's no imediate plans to change the to BK's at the moment.

Awesome! I used to have an all Koa one of these. They're great players.

Looks like a tung-oiled neck too, lovely...  8)

ah, that's extremely nice! I was half thinking of going for that myself, but (wrongly, it turns out) thought it wouldn't be nice in white...

Congratulations!  :)

(EDIT: is that a set neck or neck-thru? also, how does the floyd work without the locking nut- do the locking tuners do the job? Sorry for all the questions, I'm sure it's awesome, i'm just interested. :) )

I can answer that... Yes, neck-thru, and the nut is locking but it looks like a Kahler which isn't quite as obvious as the Floyd version.

Yeah it's a neck thru. I can get complete access to all frets and all notes, much easier than the RG I used to own. As for the nut, it is a Floyd nut, it just didn't really show well in pictures.

It's been a while since I had a floyd so it's taking some time to get used to it again.

Haha, oh, mine had a Kahler. And +1 on the neck access, Carvin's got the neck joint absolutely sorted!

I want mine back again now....!
