what didn't you like about it? and which ML was it? they make some good ones and some garbage ones, or at least it appears so. Last time i was at guitar center they all seemed to play much better than my gibsons. but then again i only picked up each one for a couple seconds.

I think mine was a low end 1. It had a single colour finish, a bolt on neck and generally felt cheap. I think it was an ML-XT, I could be wrong though.
Selling lots of gear, enquire within!......

yeah, those are like sub-$200 guitars, so i'm hoping that's why you didn't like it.

I had a Dean ML a while ago and it's licenced Floyd Rose was rubbish. Then again, most of the guitar was in hindsight

Personally I despise the Razorbacks, everyone I've played has felt plasticy, sounded lifeless, and the neck has the weirdest shape ever. And yeah, the floyd isn't very good at all - You'd want an original the moment you bought it.

But hey - I'm sure you can find a good one.

The funny thing is, the worst Razorback I've ever played was a $4500 USA Custom shop. I don't think I've ever played a worse guitar worth over £300.

If you want the look there's not much else you can get, so just make sure you like the neck shape, and make sure you get a good one. And then replace the floyd...

yeah i'm leaning towards the ML. but i don't know, maybe i'll like the razorback's neck. i think i'm gonna head down to a store friday or saturday, and then maybe go buy one monday or tuesday, so i'll let you guys know how it goes. any other suggestions? i'm definitely going to try the Rhoad's guitars, but i'm not sure if i want one since i already have a V styled guitar.

its weird, it seems people tend to either love or hate deans. everyone says they either won't play anything else, or they won't pick one up.

well i checked a few different stores, and after debating on which guitar to buy for the past 8 months, i bought myself a Dean Dime Slime ML. Its a Dean From Hell except with the Dime Slime finish. I had to buy it online, though, no one has these in stores. i bought it off musicians friend along with Guyatone MO-3 micro octaver pedal. This i've never heard of, but it looked like fun, so i went for it.
i've still got some money left that i'm not quite sure what to do with yet. maybe a/some BKP's, maybe an OFR, and maybe a power amp. i'll decide after i play the guitar for a while.
i'll be sure to post some pics.
