Jay, the Soldano looks cool! How does the rack sound?

I've had an on-again/off-again relationship with racks for a long time; I just sold off my Engl preamp and Marshall EL34 100/100 power amp, tho. Ultimately, I just prefer the sound of a head, it seems.

Wow! I need to buy some more gear!!!   Those racks look awesome! I need another flight case for the Palmer to be honest because it's supposed to be ventilated and t buzzes like crazy when you throw an amp load into it...

Ben,

The rack sounds great. The combination of the Soldano and Marshall EL34s creates a lovely sound. It's very much like the sound I usually get and definately the tone that I go for, but it has more dynamics, lots more drive, the bottom end kicks in better, etc. I still have to hook up the G-Major and also the Engl 520 into the set up. I need to find a load box/power soak that can handle 2 inputs as the Marshall poweramp has 2 outputs on it (50 watts each side...). I may go for a Palmer stereo unit and trade in my current one...not sure what my other options are...

Hot Plates on load setting would work...expensive though!
