« on: July 26, 2008, 10:20:38 AM »
As usual not the best playing - got the solo from a recent Guitarist magazine.

Baja Tele, Bridge Flat 50s pickup, GuitarPort Vibrolux setting direct into Reaper.
BKPS: Milks, P90s, Apaches, Mississippi Queens, Mules, PG Blues, BG FP 50s, e.60s strat custom set

Nice one - thanks for posting that :D

Very tasty sound.

From this, my gut feeling is that the Flat 50 is a little "thicker" sounding than the Baja's original bridge

 - is that your impression as well?

Classic tele bridge tone... and I was going to keep my Baja stock. Now you get me thinking.

Blackguard series

I think its a bit thicker than the Baja broadcaster pickup.  Bear in mind the Vibrolux is a thin sounding amp model as well.  It has a ton more natural harmonics as well.

Elliot, that sounds great, sounds like the definitive tele bridge to me, bright, fat and twangy.

If only we could hear it through a real vibrolux cranked!  I'm guessing that would not be too practical though! :(

There's not been many BG clips so thanks and keep them coming!
