HH Strat style Pickguards
« on: August 03, 2008, 10:56:24 PM »
Hello

i once stumbeled upon the perfect pickguard on ebay but now i can't seem to find it nor any other site or store that stocks these types of pickguards.

im after something like this. however instead of the 5 way switch. i want a space for a 3 way switch, the ones you normally see on gibson style guitars.

ive seen one out there but can't locate it now. anyone no were they could possible get one. ideally UK shops, but im open to all suggestions, just dont wanna wait too long

cheers

I can't remember ever seeing one cut for a toggle switch myself, you might need to get one custom-made.

Or if you're a bit handy at DIY, you could get one cut for a single humbucker like this:

Then add the cutout for a second pickup and the switch.

unless you simply don't like the style, a fender 3 way switch is a drop in replacement and gives you the neck/bridge/parallel options too
