I had a Custom 22, w/birds a couple of years back. The guitar was just too pretty for me, I like a guitar that can be played with out too much fear.

I'm not 1 to buy guitars and baby them so as to keep their resale value etc, all mine are to be used and not mothered :)

i bought a Fender american standard 40th anniversary edition
im finishing up a new pickguard, cause i wont use a S-S-S- one.

That's very similar to what mine looks like in person. In the photo I posted it looked more like a faded sunburst than Amber!  :lol:
