« on: October 23, 2008, 04:25:25 PM »
so, Metallica are doing a European arena tour.  when i saw them in Dublin in August Lars Ulrich announced "we'll see you all indoors next year!" after my rant about pre-sales in the AC/DC thread i was actually invited to participate in this one! are there any shows in Ireland?  Noooooooo.  bugger.

anyone going to see them?

I was going to go but then i saw Priest Feast and it kicks Metallica's arse!

Plus i've seen The Sword and Machine Head before and Metallica twice before so i don't think i really need to go.

Machine Head / Lamb of God or Testament...

It's actually quite tough, all 3 great bands, and I dunno who I like more between Tallica and Priest, both completely iconic.

I`m going to see Down and The Sword with Metallica. Not too fussed about Metallica though. Other 2 bands are better imo
