Ibanez JS 100
« on: November 09, 2008, 05:38:22 PM »
Anybody own/have any experience of these guitars? My Warmoth Superstrat plan has fallen down due to the rubbish US exchange rate making it too expensive, so I'm considering one of these.

Cheers,

I tend to think that Ibanez Edge IIIs are pure suck-tacular. However, I'm guessing your price range is around £500?

Maybe try a RG1570? I personally own one and it is comfortable, playable and everything a good Ibanez should have. Plus it was my first Prestige so I was like "Wow! :o"

Plus it's cheaper than a JS 100

^ +1, the js100 is more or less like the £250 cheaper ibanezes, except it's £500 because it's got satriani's name on it. Get the rg 1570 instead, as it's made in Japan and has a good tremolo. And I say that as a Satriani fanboy.

Cheers guys. Might give that one a miss, if the trem isn't up to much.
