Not sure if these links have been shown before but some really useful info on setting up guitars here:-

In part 2, I didn't realise that rosewood fingerboards shed/absorb moisture and move forward in winter and backward in summer :o
No doubt Twinfan will be interested in the McCarty stoptail set up.  :lol:

Yes, thanks Tellboy.  :)

It is never too late to revise / compare methods of things we think we already know. Even things like the 'official' PRS nut height setting will have me getting the steel ruler out - as I am one of those players that cut the nut as low as is feasable without rattle. I do not own a PRS, but respect the brand name enough to sit up and take note !
