I HATE the fact that people are good at design/spraying/stuff..!

...

actually i have to say that paint job came out distinctly amateur looking... which i suppose puts it way above the kids doodle look that seems popular with some boutique pedal makers

Still deciding how I'll want my BYOC (s in future)... I'm about psychedelic or something like MG music does:

I'd love to build BYOCs but I don't use/like pedals though. So it kinda of sucks, humourously.. I suppose.

anything by zvex springs to mind.   I dont mind the hand painted look at all... it just makes me realise i may be a bit over critical of my own stuff... after all, its just a box you stomp on

If I could solder, I'd use complete BYOC kits. I'd also make each one to look like a cigarette packet. I know it is bad for you but I like smoking.

However I can't so I'm stuck with stock pedals. :(
GREAT GOOGILY MOOGILY!

Has anyone tried the graphic EQ? I sort of want to give it a go since I'm way better at soldering now thanks to electronics lessons at uni :)

I tried the eq and hated it.

Its ony BYOC (of which i have 6) that i dont like.  When it turned up a lot of parts were wrong or in the wrong quantities and there were mistakes in the instructions (a common complaint for the eq)

It's not an easy build, but i just couldnt get it to sound very  good, it certainly was not transparent as claimed when set to 0 accross the piste.

But again i may have made a few mistakes based on the poor instructions/wrong parts.
