The leopard print Jackson modified on the feline guitars site looks cool and good value but there are no details about it only a picture.

I think I have a friend that would want the tweaked SG !!!

If my wife keeps up playing I think I will treat her to a feline -- just the name alone would have her sold on one!

Thanks for the kind words
The Leopard print Jackson is an old San Dimas Jackson  from about 1984
It originally was black with a grid pattern on it and had 3 single coils
Body is made from Alder

I used the neck to make a Jackson Rhoads out of back in the early /mid 90s - came out really well
I made a new neck many years later - great playing neck - 3 piece maple, rosewood board , Dunlop 6100 fretwire
Ihad my airbrush artist friend Nick Smith airbrush a finish on it (he's the one who also did my Judge Dredd artwork.)

Guitar has an original Floyd and BKP pickups on it (Miracle man & 2 trilogies)
www.felineguitars.com - repairs & custom built
Great fretwork!

the only full custom guitar i have is my black feline flying v (v-line), and very nice it is too! so i'll go with that :)

i don't have a guitar which was specifically custom built with me in mind though, the v-line is an ex-demo model which I eventually installed EMGs in and then asked Jonathan to rout it for an 18v battery compartment.

i'd like a Flying V XPL, but the right one never comes up. perhaps i'd have one of these as a custom build eventually.

edit: perhaps in swamp ash

Blackmachine user here... Mainly because I met Doug when our old bands rehearsed at the same studio! There's a disproportionate number of Blackmachine users amongst guys who used to play at that place. ;)

That was, what, 7 years ago? Ugh, time flies.
A-Pig 7s, Miracle Man & Mule, Cold Sweats... Expensive kit and no talent posse.

For a while, I thought that '58 style korina V Jonathan is building was going to turn out to be yours!  I guess that would be my dream V.
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

no, its not mine.. the '58 V is a cool style, but i prefer the '67 or '83

i have an epiphone '58 which was my first guitar. i sometimes think it would be nice to have a bit better '58, but then my epiphone is a real good one.

i always ask jonathan about the '58 whenever i pass by his shop though :)
