I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest a mule set. :)

Also, I'd like to contend that black dogs *can't* do ultra-heavy music very well ;)

Oh, by forum decree, since Darth Hellstyle and I have given the same recommendation, it is inviolate truth and our recommendation must be carried out.
It's hard to argue with that

Yeah, quite difficult to say something else....

But have you ever considered the Nailbomb, which is said to be, like the CR, one of the most versatile BKP, from metal to blues stuff ? I guess it should sit well in that guitar and I don't see it in your short list...

 :P

I was under the impression that the Nailbomb may be too hot?!
And the Crawler are definitely on my list

I think if the nailbombs as metal pickups that can also clean up very well. If your priority is metal, but you need blues, rock etc, they're great, if your priority is rock, blues etc and you also need metal, crawlers are the best I've heard.

Well, the bridge pup should be there kinda "in between"^^

But given the pro`s and con`s of all the pups I think IŽll go with the Holy Diver for the Bridge and a Mule for the Neck 8)
Since the Eclipse is more bright sounding, especially with the ebony fretboard the more lo-mid orientated sound of the HD should fit nicely...
But IŽm a little curious about the low-end of the HD compard the other pups from the contemporary line, especially the Cold Sweat?

Another issue is wich Cover to get? I`m really not sure wich would look nice on the Eclipse? (It is basically the same as Dmoney`s just with 2vol/2tone)
Also I have no idea what Cap I should get. Anyone has any experience with the Sprague Bumble Bee caps? I thought they would fit for the Mule part of the wiring but what cap to get for the Holy Diver?
And since I have to replace all the pots, do I need shortshaft pots or the longshaft verions for the Eclipse (thinner body)?

The HD is hotter than the NB

'In between' the blues-rock to metal (Crawler) and the metal to Blues-rock (Nailbomb) you have the Classic rock for which the RY is one of the State-of-the-art BKP ! (and less hot than both HD and NB)
Just listen to the S. Stevens Clip : it is  PDT_023 awesome ! And will sit well, I think, in the Eclipse, especially for your style.

the Eclipse is bright, but I wouldn't consider it as a sooo much bright guitar that absolutely need a dark sounding pickup. It is still a good slice of mahogany body (not an all maple body or a bolt on maple neck + fretboard).

So good luck !  :drink:
