I've got a new cry baby & looking to make it true bypass. I've got how to do it from the wah-wah site, but it mentions retaining or getting rid of the input buffer, could someone give some indications of how this would affect sound please?

i took the buffer out and it was like taking a layer of dust off the tone.. i also changed a few of the resistor values to change the sweep
