They always get a bit too pricey.  I'd like one too, but only if it was dirt cheap.

If the exchange rate still good i would have been in there - thats the thing pushing them up at the mo as most seem to be in the US

Upon closer inspection, its nice to see that that good old Gibson 'quality control' is still prevalent in my '3399'  :wink:

No, that's not a mistake - the "ES-3399"  means it has the '59 neck shape.  The ones with the 30/60 neck just say
"ES-339" (apparently).  :)
