Hello again! Posted a few times on the forum, but it's been awhile. Just thought I'd post again saying I am finally ready to start working on my guitar again and ordered my first set of BKPs! I've been working non-stop on remodeling my house, but this summer I will be able to get back on finishing my Hamer SS1 that has been needing brought back to it former glory (and more!). I've posted pics in the past, but just a recap - the guitar had a Floyd originally, but someone had come in and cut a pocket out to install an aftermarket Kahler. I found a used Floyd correct for the guitar and bought some mahogany so that I can replace the wood cut out. A friend of mine is good with paint so I will get him to help me touch up the area that I'll be working on. I'll be sure to post pics as I work on the project.
On the pickup front, which is why we are all here, the guitar is an HSS configuration so I decided to put in a Rebel Yell bridge (it is an SS model guitar...) coupled with 2 Slow Hands. Asked Tim offline what he thought and said it would be a great combo. Can't wait to get 'em! :D
