Please recommend me a BKP!

Hello everyone! I'm very new to BKP and I've never had a chance to check them out, so my opinion is purely Internet based.

I need a humbucker in bridge position, but I'm also considering ordering a full set. So here's all the info about what sound I'm looking for and what I use..

guitar: ESP Custom Horizon (Mahogany Wings/Maple Neck Thru)
current pups: JB and 59
music style: post-metal, sludge
rig: krankenstein 4x12, krank krankenstein 100W (but will be changing soon either to a CAA or Matamp)
sound preferred: huge massive yet warm oversaturated distortion with tons of bottom end and mids. High end should be warm and rounded.

I don't mind losing clarity and attack, as long as I have a nice thick chugging sound. I don't play a lot of djent, but there are some nice heavy palm mutes in most of my songs.

I've tried swapping my JB to a DiMarzio DropSonic (too articulate, focused and djenty for my sound) and SH-8 Invader (too much output yet not organic sounding).

I listen to bands like Rosetta, Cult Of Luna, Isis, Ocean Chief.. a lot of Stoner and Sludge bands.

purely based on your desciption of sounds (dont know the bands really) and what ive gatherd by reading up ....
someone else will help more .... i would imagine the diver would work well with the thru maple neck tho stop it from getting too dark etc....

It's definitely Alnico for you!

Warpigs seem to be the best but their Output is insane, if you can live with that then it's the best choice!
The holy diver would be the second in line...

I'm in the lucky position of having 5 different BKP sets in 5 simular guitars, so I would say Nailbombs could be your answer, have a listen to a few clips & also ask Tim he will put you on the right track.

I wouldn't recommend a nailbomb; it's very articulate and I don't think a maple neck-through is dark enough for the tone described. The Warpig seems to me like a spot-on advice.

What is the amp btw?

one thing on the output issue ...

yes, it is very high ... and no it is not the overpowering feature.. as in uncontrolable, like the invader, where it sounds like cr@p, unless you use it for the one thing it was designed for.

lets put it this way.. it's one of those pickups, you can get away with, playing slow clean blues and with the flick of a switch turn it into death metal mode and annihilate everything in your path :D
