you definitely want a ceramic model
if you want a huge compressed tone more like the 500t, get a ceramic warpig
if you want the 500t voicing, but without the compression, brighter and cleaner on the mids, get a painkiller
if you want a more balanced open tone, but with a lot of crunch and bite and retaining a nice clean tone, then get a cold sweat
the miracle man has similar low mids to the 500t too, but it's way cleaner on the overall midrange and more focused
the 500t is a very distorted (muddy) sounding pickup, so a BKP with equivalent output won't give you the same amount of gain on same settings, if that's what your looking for, so if you want that kind of grind on the mids, go extreme (ceramic warpig)
