Well I got impatient, so I went back today and bought it. It's awesome though it's made me realise just how lifeless the bridge humbucker on my Carvin is. So after my holiday I'll be replacing it, probably with something like a Nailbomb or Cold Sweat.

Nice dude! I remember trying a V2 with the graphic eq on it and that was awesome! You'll have a lot of fun with that one mate, I have tried the Randall range and the T2 and V2 really made me salivate, definitely my backup-plan amps if I don't manage to get a Powerball or Cobra.  :D

I've owned a Powerball and seriously think the Randall is the bettter of the two. Though it doesn't have as many features as the Powerball, the Randall makes up for it. I find it much clearer sounding and has more 'oomph' in its tone.

As for the Cobra I'm not sure, but I've heard one of my favourite bands use them (Biomechanical a few years ago) and they sounded awesome.

It's the old 8000 series valvestate cab. It's good for low volume playing or a bit loud but it doesn't great sound when really turned up.
