Framus made some horrible necks back then, some kind of maple plywood(like 2mm layers of wood glued together). But it had really good sustain and no dead spots! :)

Obviously it's a cheap way of using scr@ps, and the neck is as much glue as wood, which must affect the tone somewhat. But it had really good sustain and no dead spots! :)
The 'pointy thing' is priced about right being from the D-Tox line by the looks of things.It might still be an adequate guitar but it lacks the features of its bigger brothers.
