MQ's on a pop punk recording
« on: July 19, 2009, 08:11:53 PM »
Here's my MQ loaded Reverend Manta Ray on a pop punk track.

Recorded in Riffworks so the ending is very abrupt, but this is just a sketch so why bother  :D The kick drum in the chorus sounds really messy. I guess the song could be a bit faster as well, but that's too late to change now.

I hope you'll enjoy it.

I think that sounds great, particularly the guitars  :D

Thanks for your comments, Ken

The song actually has lyrics already, but I don't think it's possible to do voice recordings in Riffworks. I'm also a lousy singer so I'm pretty sure that I'll mess up the whole thing if a tried laying down some vocals. But the song sure misses it's vocals! Not the ideal instrumental song.
