wonderful tones and wonderful gear. i have a VH4 as well along with a number of mesa gear. the herbert came out years after i bought my VH4 and though i liked the tone, it didn't suit me as well as the VH4.

my nailbombs are in an ESP Viper custom. do you gig and tour professionally at all with your equipment?

Nop, no gigging. Used to work as a sound engineer, now just do this thing as a hobby. Maybe someday. Hard finding bandmates for the type of stuff I do. From the first listen it sounds really easy, but once they try to get into it, they find out that it's pretty complicated indeed.

i put your drums into ableton live to add a bass line, then guitar, but the drums play at warp speed compared to playing the clip in winamp/media player. Am i doing something wrong?  :?

i think its the BPM setting. What BPM was the drum track done at?

BPM shouldn't affect anything. Check your sample & bit rate, make sure your project is 24/44 before you import the file. Let me know. Just in case it's 170 BPM.

i made a recording, but then realised i had just copied (badly) the riff from bomb track :( I will have another go. How do you guys think of riffs? im trying to start with a bass line but i just end up playing the roots of the chords. It can sound alright that way but it gets boring

Well I didn't use your drum track...sorry...but I did this short little clip showing how the VH II sounds clean/Lead/ and Dirty!!!!!!

Recorded with A Fender USA DLX HSS Strat, Pro Tools, and L6 Toneport UX2....enjoy!!!!

That'd be great! That way I can reamp it; know what I mean? You can use my drum tracks or yours, whatever is better for you.
