Kerry King Signature Kahler

Will the Madness never end? Surely only Dimebag or Zakk Wylde has more endorsements?!

Not only are there 18(!) signature BC Rich Kerry King Guitars available (just had a quick count on the BCR website), Two MXR pedals (EQ and Q Zone), Strings and Marshall head, he now has a signature bridge. Mental.

I would like to try the JCM800KK tho, want to see how it sounds next to a normal 800.

Oh lord. Will it ever end?

Does it say why its different from a normal one, aside from his signature on it?

actually i dont think this is too bad as endorsements go.   kahler offer many different options within the same design.... so if you really want to sound like kerry then having a bridge made of the exact same materials makes sense... and the fact its a cool finish means the appeal isnt limited just to KK fans

be thankful it doesn't have him trademark flames all over it (and thats coming from a massive Slayer fan who's a little sick of the overendorsements of KK and ZW)

It will make you sound like a tractor. The last time I saw Slayer live he sounded like a Zetor.

I like the idea of Kahler expanding the range, but there are other things I would rather see,

The main frame in the 80s was made from brass, the modern hybrids are made from steel, I think an ali frame one would be a good contrast.

arent they tribal tattoos, which is even worse.
the amount of things endorsed by KK and ZW and Deadbag Darryl put me off wanting any of that stuff.
But im sure at the same time it appeals to all the 15 year olds that just want everything with one of their names on it.
the KK BC Richs are the worst of the bunch though, at least things like the MXR and Marshall are proper usable pieces of gear.

I wonder when hes gonna get an endorsement from a chain company the chains he rocks from his pants

Actually, I tried one & thought it was pretty decent.

The lack of an FX loop put me off buying it, but if you want a single channel high gain amp with a hotter, heavier JCM800 sound, it's worth a look.
