Looking for BKP for my dark and muddy Epiphone LP Goth

Hey
Just got myself an Epiphone LP Goth and it's a very dark,muddy guitar, and the pickups has weak output.
I play mostly hard rock and metal, and looking for pickups  that can compromise for  the guitar's muddiness, darkness and lack of output pickups.
Any suggestions?

(I was think about Rebel Yells, don't really want the extreme outputs pickups like Warpig etc.)

agree those epi goths are quite dark and muddy

You might look at Cold Sweat as an option - the ceramic magnet will help with the crunch

81 bridge/60 neck may be an option in absolute worst case... though it seems you aren't an out and out br00talz player. what do you want to play? rebel yells give nice bright 80s hard rock sound.

i like EMGs for that generic metal tone, but they will be soul-less.

from all those suggested I would try the rebel yell first. riff raffs will definitely work, but may not be hot enough for you - depends on your amp.

Listening to that I'd have to say ColdSweat, very bright and hot, while being articulate and punchy.

I hope your guitar has good tone though, there are dark guitars with tone and dark guitars that are just dead/dull. If the latter is the case, the pickup won't fix it really.

First of all , I had cold sweat bridge and neck mule on my other guitar, Jackson RR5, didn't like it at all... but this was alder wood , and a totally diffrent guitar so maybe it'll be diffrent.
I replaced them with Dimarzio D-sonic bridge and Seymour duncan SH1 on the neck, sounds great!
If I thought that they'll sound the same  (the jackson and the LP) with the same pickups I'll go for it, but it's totally diffrent wood and guitars so I don't think it'll work

I play mostly hard rock, nu metal , modern rock like Breaking benjamin, Three days grace...
I play through high gain amp, (VETTA II HD through 2 1936's 2X12 cabinets).
VHII and Riff Raff are maybe to weak, but I'm not sure.

They are lower output (RiffRaff quite a bit less felt output than the VHII) but both of these cut great at higher gain. I used both pickups with my metal band with great success. They don't compress much though, if that's what you're after.

Also think about the Painkiller. It's supposed to be bright and snappy.

the painkiller is great, but sounds very "clear" if you want that
I have a gothic LP with a MM bridge now, but will try a c-pig instead.
I love the sound of the warpigs in my Viper !!!
