Jason Bonham in another super group?

what happened to the last one with Scott Ian, Sebastian Bach, Even Seinfeld and Ted Nugent?

Wasn't that put together for some TV show?  It's a really bizarre combination of musicians, can't imagine it working at all.  And there was that Tommy Lee show with Gilby Clarke and Jason Newsted.

However, I thought the Chickenfoot album was pretty decent (prepares to run for cover)

I quite liked it too - certainly better than I expected.  Haven't listened to it for a while though.... not sure where it is in fact.....  :?

Although it's great that he's doing something with other recognized musicians, I'm with you guys...why is he doing it. His profile can't get any bigger by playing with these guys, so the only thing is that it must be that he's doing it to enjoy it, which isn't a bad reason. Glenn Hughes has a great voice, Jason can play the hell outta anything, so it could be good. Wonder if it's going to be Zeppelin esq?

This will expose him to people who have not heard of him or would not normally listen to a blues player. By exposing I don't mean getting his c--k out.

I'd like to think he wasn't doing it just for exposure, anyway.

Same here. He's never really struck me as a publicity-hungry opportunist, so there's cause for hope!

Gary Moore went through different fazes in his playing and it looks as if Joe doesn't want to just be pigeon holed as just a Blues player. I've seen him whip out Rock tunes like LZ's -  Black Dog, and do it supreme justice. It appears to me Joe just wants to flex his Rock background now that he's established himself pretty respectfully as a Bluesman.

Sounds like this.
I thought Glen Hughes was doing the lions share of the vocals?

I can't play it here in work, so sorry if I've got it wrong, but I think that's a track from his new solo album, Black Rock.  The supergroup is Black Country.  He's deliberately being confusing!

Blimey, I'd buy it!  Hughes is on scarily good form there.
