BKP's for 80's rock in my new Ibanez

OK so I've got an Ibanez S770FM
Maple neck, Rosewood Board, Mahogany Body with Flame maple cap.

I play 80's rock and a bit of heavier stuff. Love the sound of the Rebel Yells in my Les Paul.

What bridge pick-up would you recommend?

holy diver would be nice. its a sort of rebel yell with 'more' ;)

I must admit to some Holy diver curiosities, mainly down to the name  :D

The stock pickups have a tendency to mud at the bottom end and over bright at the top. Unplugged the guitar sounds full and detailed so the mud must be the stock pups.

With that said the MM suggestion seems even quite odd to me ... :stupid:

can you give some examples of the sound / bands your after ?

Yes the MM is a pretty fat sounding pickup but will do Lynch, Zakk Wylde, Randy Rhoads with great finesse.
Will work well for Metallica style thrash too

Acoustically the guitar has a wide range of tone from deep and powerful on the bass end to bright and twangy at the top. The stock pickups however make this go from Muddy to brittle.

CS neck was on the cards the future, I'm just diong the bridge pickup this time as I'm of limited funds this month.

Yep - that makes sense - the ceramic magnet keeps the lows tight and focuessed
