« on: February 22, 2010, 07:27:52 PM »
Hi, new to the forums..

My first Floyd Rose equipped strat (ok ok, strat copy  :().  Im looking to give her that bareknuckle edge and am open to any suggestions regarding pickups or any other mods you all may have found useful or just downright badass.

Thanks and see you around!

You'll have to describe the sound you're looking for to get the right advice.

I really like the colour of this guitar - it seems like a more Gibson colour but works well on a Strat.  Very nice.

Thanks Andrew!  The color struck me when I first saw it, it's a great finish..

Choucas, of course, how silly of me..

I guess I'm looking for a pickup combination that can sing like Frusciante on songs like "Hey" or "Strip My Mind" and when I kick up some distortion, can scorch like Bellamy on "Plug In Baby" and "Stockholm Syndrome"... Or like Greenwood on "Electioneering", if you prefer :)

a tall order I know, but I like creamy cleans and distortion that's crunchy without being too.... "metal" I suppose?
