do you want a free beer?

I emailed vht about their new amps, and the guy (Terry) who replied said if anyone came to their stand, asked for him and mentioned the thread on Ultimate Guitar, he'd buy them a beer.

Here's the thread:

Check out Agile Partners, and let me know what their iPhone guitar amp sim sounds like (and what the hardware looks like).... my mate works for them, but hasn't yet sent me any samples of it! :)

I worked there for a couple of weeks and my employers were kind enough to take me out for a meal at the restaurant at the top of the Deutsche Bank building, completely unaware of my pathological fear of heights.  Check out the view:

I got to the top but had a panic attack, so they took me to a famous Indian restaurant near my hotel instead.  Its name?

- The Gaylord.

My self esteem has yet to recover.

I hate heights too but thought it was worth the effort to take my missus to the Peak Bar at the Shinjuku Park Hyatt. After 2 hours of "all you can drink" I felt a bit more comfortable with the view from the 41st floor window.
I see a rainbow rising
Look there on the horizon
And I'm coming home
